“Threats to Your Inalienable Right to Keep and Bear Arms” with a majority of Hillary Clinton supporters either favoring the repeal of the 2nd Amendment or pushing for so-called “Common Sense” gun control, we will discuss, WWTFT-What Would The Founders’ Think. What did the Founders of these United States say and write about firearms? Libertarian Ticket? V.P. Nominee former Gov. William Weld says he has owned a gun for years and thinks they are great for hunting. He forgets that when he was governor of Massachusetts he proposed the most radical gun control bill ever. Good thing he was not around when the Patriots need their firearms to fight the British off.  All on Armed Alabama, your weekly radio show on FM Talk 106.5 in Mobile AL airing Tuesday evenings 6 pm to 8 pm hosted by Retired Judge and NRA instructor Rusty Johnston and NRA Law Enforcement instructor Adam Strange.

Gun Confiscations, Can They Really Happen?

They Already Have, During The Aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in August and September, 2005.

Our Special Guest was Gordon Hutchinson, author of the definitive book on the illegal gun confiscations, gun thefts, illegal home entries, and probable violations of the Third Amendment in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, “The Great New Orleans Gun Grab”. The editor of the N. R. A. magazine “American Rifleman” in his review, of the book, called it “one of the most disturbing books I’ve ever read.”  If you value your right to keep and bear arms this book is a must read that can be ordered at these links:

The Great New Orleans Gun Grab

I have found that many men accomplish one great act that actually changes the course of history. I am not talking about getting married or having families, those are great acts, but they don’t affect the public.

Gordon Hutchinson’s Great Act was researching and writing ‘The Great New Orleans Gun Grab: Decent into Anarchy’ because he shed light on a horrible abuse of power and help change laws and policies to make sure that this would never happen again.

Judge Rusty Johnston, Circuit Judge, 13th Judicial Circuit State of Alabama (Ret.) (1997-2015).

Gordon’s book “The Great New Orleans Gun Grab: Decent into Anarchy” documents the events which occurred in the weeks following Hurricane Katrina as New Orleans Police and Police from other agencies followed an illegal and unconstitutional order giving by Ray Nagin to seize all firearm. Although many in law enforcement did not comply, too many “just followed orders” an excuse that was held to be invalid at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials. That the reason why the U.S. Supreme Court is not the final interpreter and arbiter of what the Constitution says, because all who take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution must decide every day are their actions Constitutional. In the case of the gun seizures they were not because the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeal had already held that the 2nd Amendment was an individual right which belonged to each individual and was not connected with service in the militia and that the 2nd Amendment applied to the state and local governments. United States v. Emerson, 270 F.3d 203 (5th Cir. 2001), cert. denied, 536 U.S. 907 (2002).

Gordon Hutchinson is a 1969 graduate of LSU, former officer in the famed U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, a newspaperman, a Reserve Sheriff’s Deputy with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office for 30 years. Outdoors’s writer, and firearms instructor. He has also been involved in competitive pistol shooting across the State of Louisiana.

Currently, Gordon teaches an entertaining and informative course on self-defense and concealed carry that meets all the requirements of the State of Louisiana—most people that attend his courses leave them surprised and pleased at the information and enjoyment they have received, in addition to being certified to apply to the state for a concealed carry permit. He teaches these classes often as many as five times a week in his hometown just North of Baton Rouge.

Gordon estimates he has instructed well over 6000 people in self-defense and firearms safety and proficiency since he began instructing in 1992.
